Some great photos by Erin Wallace for promotion and our new website. Some wonderful photos of our process in the Okotoks Glass Studio! We are getting on our way. See more of Erin's photos at www.erinwallacephotography.com
One of the most interesting aspects of making art from hot glass is the actual process. Working with molten hot glass is quite theatrical as it pours and stretches like honey over and through your tools while emitting its own light.
In Calgary, Canada I teamed up with glass blower Mandy Patchin to put the hot glass studio in a retro fitted moving truck with a wall that folds down into a stage. From this mobile space we will travel to the far reaches of North America, from festival to festival sharing this dramatic process with the masses.
